Spidey Kicks Butt!

Updated September 12, 2008

My Goblin Prince series concludes
with

"Goblin at Rest?" Part 2

In this part - Harry dies, which still
doesn't stop his plotting against
our friendly neighborhood wall
crawler - and then he gets better.
Should Harry have died in the first
place, and given that, should he
have come back?

The Spider-Man CrawlSpace  Podcast is your primary audio source for
Spider-Man analysis and commentary on the web, featuring the webmaster of
the Crawlspace, Brad "Gadget Guy" Douglas, the Clone Saga and Spider-Girl's
biggest booster in "SpideyDude," and "Morbius," who really, really likes
Morbius the Living Vampire, probably as much as I do the Green Goblin.  And
I thought I had issues.  Oh yeah, and there's another member of this
cantankerous quartet, but I'm too modest to say much about him.  In the last
few months, we've talked to Dan Slott, John Romita, Jr., and Greg Weisman
(producer of the new Spidey cartoon debuting in 2008).  So stop downloading
silly rock and roll music which will just rot your brain and make you deaf and
click on the picture and listen to the Crawlspace Podcast!
I've teamed up with Brad Douglas and the fine folks at the Spider-Man Crawlspace - one of the top Spidey sites on the web.  The
Crawlspace  hosts my Spidey Kicks Butt forum where you can come and give your two cents about the SKB articles.  Plus, there
several other forums where you can talk with the other members of the community about the world's greatest superhero.  Just click
on the Crawlspace banner to get to the site proper, and the message board picture to take you to the SKB forum.    Many thanks to
Brad for giving a tired old Spidey fan a hangout.  And kudos to Alex Hamby for providing the SKB forum banner.

Webslinger: Unauthorized Essays on Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Yeah, I'm still shilling it -
you gotta problem wit' dat?

As part of its SmartPop series, Ben Bella has published numerous books of essays about a myriad of pop
culture subjects including Superman, the X-Men, Harry Potter, Battlestar Galactica, and many more.
Well, now they've published a book of 17 essays on Spider-Man and one of them is written by none other
than
little old me!  Really!  This book is edited by Gerry Conway, spider author extraordinaire
himself, and features the efforts of 16 REAL writers  - and me.   Even though I'm outta my league - I'm
thrilled to be a part of this.

The book is now available for order on
Amazon.com  - so support my 15 minutes of fame or I'll bother you
relentlessly until you get a copy.  Yes, that's a shameless advertisement and threat....but you gotta love
Joe in one of the best gangster movies ever.
Spidey Kicks Butt  - The Ultimate in Spider-Man Commentary is the no. 1 site on the web for in-depth analysis of
Spider-Man and his world.  Founded on July 17, 1998 by an aging Spidey fan as a protest against the
deteriorating quality of the storylines and Marvel's disregard for the character and his fans, the site has evolved
into an information resource for both old and new fans who want to go beyond message board insults and
amicably discuss the finer points of what has become a modern mythology.
